Common questions
How is AI charged?
Every AI request is recorded with model, token count, and timestamp. Model-specific pricing is applied per request, and the cost comes off your prepaid AI balance as soon as the request completes. The usage log shows what each request cost.
When are invoices generated?
Buying Pro and every monthly renewal generate an invoice, and so does every AI balance top-up—whether you add funds yourself or auto-recharge does. Each appears in your billing history: download any invoice as a PDF, with line-item breakdown, for accounting.
Can I see who is driving AI costs?
Yes—AI usage logs show every request with user attribution. Filter by user to see per-user costs. Export to CSV for chargeback or cost allocation to departments.
How do I upgrade to Pro?
Go to Billing and press Upgrade to Pro. Enter your billing details, then pay on Stripe’s secure page—Pro switches on as soon as the payment goes through, with no sales call. Account credit, if you have any, pays first.
What payment methods are supported?
Credit cards via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover). Stripe handles secure payment processing and PCI compliance. (Planned) ACH and wire transfer for enterprise.
Can I get a refund if I cancel?
Usage-based charges are non-refundable—you pay for what you have already consumed. If you cancel Pro, you keep it until the end of the month you’ve paid for, and it isn’t charged again. The 14 days of Pro are free and never turn into a charge on their own, and every new account starts with free AI on its balance.
