Snowflake integration
Turn Snowflake into dashboards and alerts — with AI.
Connect your Snowflake warehouse and start asking questions in plain English. Fastero generates Snowflake SQL, returns results as charts and tables, and lets you save anything as a dashboard or automated alert. No data movement required.
What you can do
Query, visualize, and monitor — all from Snowflake.
Natural language to SQL
Ask questions in plain English and get Snowflake SQL generated against your schema. Fastero understands your databases, schemas, warehouses, and column types — no manual mapping required.
AI-generated dashboards
Save any query result as a dashboard panel. Combine multiple queries into a single view with charts, tables, and KPI cards. Share with your team via a link or embed in your app.
Automated alerts and triggers
Set up SQL-based alerts that run on a schedule. When a query result crosses a threshold — revenue drops, churn spikes, credits surge — get notified in Slack, email, or a webhook.
How it works
Three steps. Under five minutes.
Add your connection
Provide your Snowflake account identifier, credentials (key-pair or password), and choose the warehouse to query. Fastero reads your database schemas and table metadata. Read-only access — we never write to your warehouse.
Ask questions in plain English
Type a question like "revenue by region for last quarter" and get a Snowflake SQL query generated, executed, and visualized in seconds.
Save as dashboard or trigger
Pin results to a dashboard for ongoing visibility, or create a trigger that runs the query on a schedule and alerts you when something changes.
Snowflake-native
Built for Snowflake SQL.
Fastero generates queries that use Snowflake-specific syntax and features. No generic SQL that breaks on execution.
FLATTEN for semi-structured data (VARIANT, OBJECT, ARRAY)
TIME_SLICE, DATEADD, and date/time functions
QUALIFY clause for window function filtering
Virtual warehouse sizing and resource monitors
Materialized views and zero-copy clones
Database / schema / warehouse hierarchy navigation
Example queries
Questions people actually ask their Snowflake data.
“Revenue by region for last quarter”
“Which warehouse is consuming the most credits”
“Users who signed up but never activated”
“Daily active users with 7-day moving average”
“Top 10 products by return rate this month”
“Failed pipeline runs by stage, last 7 days”
Frequently asked questions
Common questions about the Snowflake integration.
How does Fastero connect to Snowflake?
Fastero connects using key-pair authentication or username/password credentials over an encrypted connection. Your data stays in Snowflake — we never copy or cache it. You can use a dedicated read-only role to limit access to specific databases and schemas, and revoke access at any time.
Will Fastero queries increase my Snowflake bill?
Fastero queries run on your virtual warehouse using your existing compute credits. We do not add any separate compute layer. To minimize cost, we automatically apply LIMIT clauses to exploratory queries, leverage result caching when available, and show estimated query cost before execution so you can cancel expensive queries.
Does Fastero affect my warehouse sizing?
Fastero queries run like any other client workload on your chosen virtual warehouse. For exploratory use, an X-Small warehouse is typically sufficient. If you run frequent scheduled triggers, you can point them at a dedicated warehouse to isolate cost and avoid contention with production workloads.
